"Elaine Levine is a wonderfully fresh and
original voice in western romance.

I loved it!" -- Joan Johnston, New York Times bestselling

My husband and I live in Northern Colorado where
the Plains meet the Rocky Mountains--a stone's throw from the Wyoming
border. Some places out here look unchanged from how they must have
been in the 19th century. And others are evolving rapidly, never again
to be what they were.
The wind sounds the same, I think. It whispers stories of lives lived
passionately, fearlessly, in a brutal and rugged terrain. I hope my
love of this area comes through in my stories!
The Men of Defiance Series: Stories about the hard edged men who settle in a border town called Defiance...and the women who tame them!
RACHEL AND THE HIRED GUN
Running from a brutal past to the father she’s never met, Rachel Douglas must rely on the survival skills of the hard-edged gunman her father sends to guide her across the rugged terrain of the Dakota Territory. But Sager’s got another plan…and a blood debt to settle.
Time doesn’t always heal all wounds. Sometimes it takes a little vengeance.
